My First Coffee Table

Several years ago I was helping my brother remodel his basement. That project produced a lot of 2x4 cutoffs. I had the idea of using them to create a table. I created a design with the end grain facing up in alternating patterns. The design evolved as I dove deeper. The end result is what you see below. It is not my best work by any means, but we have enjoyed it for several years.
